Professional Experience
Audrey is the Managing Partner of Audrey Grey. Her areas of focus are financial markets law, corporate and commercial law, transactions. Taxation, corporate restructuring and insolvency and corporate governance. Audrey is an experienced Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) She is also a practicing transactions attorney and member of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA). Prior to AudreyGrey, Audrey worked at leading accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers and HSBC Bank, UK. She serves on the Governing Council of the Ghana Stock Exchange where she is the Vice Chairperson of the Council. She also serves as director of Metropolitan Life Insurance Ghana and Metropolitan Pensions Trust. Over the years Audrey has served in many governance positions. Notable amongst them are Metropolitan Health Insurance Ghana, the Ghana Association of Savings and Loan Companies, the Association of Certified Charted Accountants (ACCA) Members Network Panel and the Ghana Association of Restructuring and Insolvency Advisors (GARIA).
Having played a major role on the passage of Ghana’s Companies Act and Corporate Insolvency Act, she is passionate about ensuring that businesses thrive. Audrey is a member of the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Professionals (INSOL International) and a member of Ghana’s Ministry of Trade and Industry Business Law reforms committee. An experienced Insolvency Practitioner, Audrey was the third licensed Insolvency Practitioner in Ghana (IP No. 0003) and is currently the Administrator of one of the two companies goung through administration in Ghana.
Audrey also serves as a transactions advisor and has advised on many financing arrangements from performing legal due diligences on target companies, to advising on transaction structuring, share holder, negotations on terms sheets and drafting and negotiation of transaction documents. She is a lead transactions advisor and is able to assist both providers of capital and recipients of capital to order transactions in an efficient manner.

Industry Engagement and Recognition
In 2023, Audrey was awarded a certificate of recognition by the Ghana Association of Restructuring and Insolvency Advisors in appreciation of her contributions to the enactment of the Corporate Insolvency and Restructuring Act, 2020 (Act 1015) and the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992). She served as the lead consultant during the drafting and stakeholder consultation processes that culminated in the passage of the Regulations to the Corporate Insolvency and Restructuring Act.
