Professional Experience
Clara is a trial lawyer with a focus on complex litigation and dispute resolution. She represents clients across a range of contentious matters before both civil and criminal courts. In addition to her courtroom experience, Clara regularly supports clients through due diligence exercises and advisory transactions across various sectors.
Her representative experience includes:
• Representing financial institutions in the recovery of debts from defaulting customers.
• Acting for an insolvency practitioner in a dispute concerning the unlawful repossession of business premises without the leave of the court.
• Representing clients in divorce and matrimonial proceedings, including property settlement and custody disputes.
• Advising and representing clients in probate and estate matters, including the successful acquisition of probate and letters of administration.
• Serving as defence counsel in criminal proceedings before the Ghanaian courts.

Industry Engagement and Recognition
In 2024, the Chartered Institute of Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners published Clara’s article titled “Dream Realty v Luxon Realty: The Case of the Missing Amendment and the Missed Opportunity!” In it, she examined key shortcomings in Ghana’s insolvency legislation and proposed actionable reforms.
